Chris Hutter is a renowned Dutch still life photographer based in Amsterdam. His artistic vision and keen eye for detail have earned him a prominent place in the industry. After a decade of working across various genres, he discovered his true passion: still life and food photography. Chris studied at the St. Joost Academy of Art and Design in Breda and has collaborated with leading advertising agencies and brands in the Netherlands and abroad.
In addition to his success in food and advertising photography, Chris has also devoted himself to creating fine art still life photography. His work is characterized by an intimate atmosphere, compelling compositions, and masterful use of light. He firmly believes that his still lifes embody the soul and story of their subjects. He also has a deep appreciation for the picturesque beauty of ingredients and the purity of dishes, often bringing them to life in collaboration with food stylists and chefs.
Chris’ portfolio seamlessly bridges classic art, technical precision, and modern aesthetics. Each image he creates is an exploration of stillness and visual storytelling — an invitation to discover the extraordinary in the everyday. His fine art collection comprises approximately 40 works.
